UL Enhanced Certification for Cosmetics

The purpose of the UL® National Brand Certification Program (NBCP) is to assess the extent to which an organization conforms to the applicable regulations and/or standards regarding the products being manufactured. NOW Foods received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Enhanced Certification for the entire line of cosmetics following inspection of our good manufacturing practice and quality system in conformance with ISO 221716:20017. The scope of inspection includes the manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution of cosmetic products including gels, creams, lotions, shampoos, and toothpaste at NOW Foods’ facilities.
